Today on Good Morning Equestria: In an extensive, intimate, edgy conversation the Great-and-Powerful Trixie sat down with our very own Andrea Cantering to give her first interview since pulling out of an Equestria-wide promotional tour following a disastrous reception in Ponyville.
Andrea: It seems like not a week goes by without you making the headlines of the Hoofington Post. Reports of cupcake-fueled nights with piles of mares and the destruction of your mobile performance platform have people thinking that Trixie must be on Poison Joke again.
G&PT: *hah!* The only JOKE the Great-and-Powerful Trixie is on is THIS programme.

Twilight slumped at her desk, head in hand, and gazed idly out the classroom window. Across the empty courtyard soared the spires of Canterlot, the royal library towering above the rest. The purple unicorn sighed wistfully. How she wished she could be there now, unearthing the secrets burried in those dusty texts. What a waste for Celestia's most faithful student to be stuck here, amongst the... common ponies.

Now that I've written my second one I suppose that makes it official. If a time travelling Dr. Whooves visited me three months ago and told me that... well, in all honesty I'd probably believe anything that a talking pony in a TARDIS told me.
It was my plan to stick exclusively to the "flashup" (flash-mashups) genre, partly because it's novel but mostly because I am NOT a writer. However I have a few ideas kicking around for longer original stories, so perhaps someday I'll submit something of actual substance.
No promises though.
